ECS 100: Journey to Reconciliation
The goal of this assignment was too allow students to demonstrates many pathways of learning and endless possibilities of representations of our journey to Reconciliation. We were to reflect on what we have learnt about the Indigenous history of Canada (or should I say Turtle Island) and dig deeper into these topics. We were then represent these ideas and learnings with a visual project. I had chosen to represent Canada with a box diagram. I have attached my explanation of the piece and photos of the diagram below. Enjoy!

Cree 100: Final Project - A Lesson in Cree
Tânisi! (Hello!) To become an educator it is required to take a second language and I had chosen Cree. Our final project asked us to create a Cree lesson to demonstrate in front of the class. My partners and I are all working towards our elementary education degree so though it would be fitting to create a lesson plan directed to young beginner Cree speakers. Our lesson requires the learner to have be familiar with Cree nouns, verbs, VAI and VTA sentence formatting, and particle words. As a group we used the knowledge that we have learnt as first year education students to create an hour long lesson plan idea. I have attached that below. Cîhkîstam! (Enjoy!)

KHS 139 (Movement Education): Brain/Body Break
We were asked to create a movement break suited for a elementary classroom environment. The goal for this activity was to research the different ways to utilize space and get the youngsters moving. These activities take very little to no equipment, are quick and easy, and are a great way to allow the students work off extra energy so they are able to complete the next task. My group decided to design an interactive story. We tell the story at the front of the class, while the entire class represents the words as movements. I have shared my groups activity below. Enjoy!

KHS 139 (Movement Education): Educational Games
We were asked to come up with a fun and educational game appropriate for Physical Education. There were many things to consider; For example, having all students participating, moving, and enjoying it. With Physical Education comes physical literacy, but for students to commit their time and energy in partaking in a physically active lifestyle they must enjoy it. We have designed a game that will keep all youngsters moving without the pressure of competition. I have attached my groups game below. Enjoy!
